The Challenge
Returning tankers should be empty before loading at fuel terminals, but in reality, there’s often leftover product in each compartment that must be drained. The current manual process involves drivers using buckets connected to a static strap to collect that residual fuel.
How it works
- Drivers connect the API connector onto each API in turn
- The hose connects to the gantry’s existing suction pump
- A yellow indicator will show that the pump is working
- All residual fuel is quickly sucked directly into the gantry’s waste product/slops tank
